Goal of the Cruz Mayor Expedition 2008

The final goal of the expedition is to publish the corresponding anthropological-archaeological works with DVD, not only about the caverns but also about the tribes discovered. Trying to protect  this land to give it some type of protection due to high interests in diverse fields, being one of the few places in the world with virgin mountain rainforests.

Drawing attention to the enormous threat that hangs over it due to deforestation and the discovery of gold mines in the high lands with its great polluting power because of the disposal of mercury into the rivers. The economic improvement which would mean to the inhabitants of the place, tourism even if it was a modest one, would be profitable to the critical situation of illness and famine in the tribes of the area.
